Engage: As the Dale District representative, Dominique will ensure the community is informed BEFORE decisions are made at the School Board meetings. Her approach is to use social media, community meetings, podcasts and emails to bring the information to you.

Educate:  Through more frequent engagement, families will have the information they need to make informed decisions.  They will learn methods to help improve their child's school experience.  Families are relying on us to provide their children, ALL CHILDREN, with a quality education complete without bringing politics into the classroom. Schools need to be equipped with qualified, trained staff with updated facilities and resources to work with for our children.

Empower:  Consistent engagement + Quality Education = EMPOWERMENT
The ability to empower our teachers, students and families to reach their potential should be the goal of a successful school system. The confidence we create and instill in our children will be carried throughout life. The evidence will be their achievement in and out of the classroom.

Equity:  Equity is not a bad word. Equity is about recognizing that we all don't start from the same place and we should resource our students and schools according to what is needed to achieve success. Its about applying the resource to the area in need, this way we maximize resources and ensure each student and school is equipped with the appropriate resource to address the concerns.
